  6. One of my FAV Podcast..cant wait til it’s “up” every week. The addition of the 2nd ‘cast with just the guys is brilliant! Thanks…I enjoy the interviews also and I really enjoy the LIVE Nerdist ‘cast..such fun. Thanks for finally uncovering some stories from Matt’s “6feet under” I have to admit I was hoping for more BUT I will take the golf cart story made me giggle!
    Is there any way you can add some links and info on Matt and Jonah on the website too? I enjoy ALL of you so much! ..here’s to another year!!

  8. Do a college tour! If you do, please come to University of Delaware!! I know it seems like it sucks, and it does. But if you guys came it wouldn’t suck anymore. Please come, I can’t find anyone else to discuss Doctor Who with. I didn’t want to end a sentence in a preposition but I did. That’s something I’ll have to live with.

  18. Glad to hear the shout-out for Juliana Hatfield, who is my favorite musician and still putting out some great material. She’s been recently doing shows with the surprisingly not yet dead Evan Dando, who is also still incredibly talented and, as I said, surprisingly not yet dead. I hope he manages to stay that way.

  23. Just discovered this podcast and its fantastic. Ive listened to all of them after a few weeks of non stop listening. I like to listen while i animate at work. You guys are all hilarious and the new 2 a week schedule is working out great, dont slow down.

    Also Anna’s Taqueria is fucking awesome and i miss it. You’ve caused me pain for putting its memory back in my head cranium. California blows.

  29. I have been listening to your podcasts for nearly a year (First checked in around 4 or 5). I love listening to you crack wise for an hour or so each week. I talked to Chris when he was in Toronto in July about Wil Wheaton and now just 7 or 8 months later it is finally happening. Good job. Come back to Toronto please.

  30. I got so excited when you guys mentioned that Boy Meets World was available on Netflix Instant, but it’s not there! Too bad, that would be pretty amazing. But not as amazing as having TWO Nerdist Podcasts per week! That is incomparable.

  32. STP’s first two albums were great. Oasis is great too. Yes they both borrow liberally, but haven’t you guys been watching Everything is a Remix?

    You guys totally just blew my mind because I remember seeing the video of Matt getting run over by a golf cart on Web Soup, but I had NO idea that was Matt. Amazing! Did you guys know him then?

    “There’s no X in baseball.” was a joke me and my friends passed around all the time, where X was whatever we were doing. So if somebody asked for a soda, there was no soda in baseball. Max hilarity was reached when I said “There’s no running in baseball.” and I genuinely meant it. It’s one of those jokes that’s only funny because it made a running gag funny again after like a year.

  36. You should sell some “Free Matt from Tech Support HELL” shirts to raise money. I would buy one. I have served my time in it as well and would support freeing others from it.

  37. Congratulations on getting to a year of this! I have enjoyed the shows immensely, and the Hostful shows make a large part of my two hour daily commute all the more bearable.

    You guys referenced some gear for making podcasts on the show, which I didn’t quite catch. Maybe you would want to make a list of the gear you referenced and link to it on Amazon (or another retailer of your choosing) that has an affiliate program, and then you can get some more revenue coming into the show. This would then help to free Matt from his job, and help move things along for all of you.

  42. Firstly, yeah- Topher is right, Topher is an awesome name, and see Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse if you have any doubts about that.

    Secondly, I fucking love Stone Temple Pilots, so keep singing random songs during the episodes :)
