Enjoyed the last statement, “The concept of reality only exists in our minds.”
So, my question(s) for Chris Hardwick: what say you on this existential thought? Is there a reality external from the observer, or is perceived reality the only reality? And if so, if more than one observer, is the perceived reality a shared one, or individual to each observer? Is there, in fact, more than one observer?
The controller in Duckhunt lets you change the direction of flight left/right upwards/downwards if memory serves me right, it is not total freedom. Nevertheless I do remember playing it that way with my brother.
I can relate to that Duckhunt revelation though, what blew my mind, however, was that F makes the skier ski faster than the monster in SkiFree. My 10-year-old self felt rather cheated.
XKCD (naturally) presented it brilliantly: http://xkcd.com/667/
I cant get my brain to ignore my nose again… damn song has me noticing it.
Man, as a nerd I knew a lot of those, but the ‘Duck Hunt’ one just blew my five-year-old self’s mind apart! That, and Cleopatra…
Duckhunt is 2 player? I might just have to make a trip to my grandma’s house (still has a Nintendo) just to play with that one!
