Ghostbusters v. AC/DC
by Chris Hardwick on September 29, 2010
We showed this on Attack of the Show today and I can’t stop listening to it. This sum is greater than its parts…
Download the song on Wax Audio’s site. Also check out the Bryan Adams/Metallica mashup!

The Bryan Adams/Metallica mashup “Enter You” has been my favorite mashup for awhile now. Definitely worth the suggested listen.
Excellent find. I’ve already listened to it 4 times. About to turn it into an .mp3. This needs to be my ringtone.
The beginning is so amazing.
I actually prefer the Bee Gees and Pink Floyd mashup a lot more. Definitely check out the website and some of the other songs.
This is more fantastic than I have words for. Were either song even slowed down? They sound pretty much normal…
The “waah-aah-aah-aah-ah-ah-aah-oh” very reliably makes my Border Collie go bonkers.
Holy shit, that was an amazing mashup! So jealous of people with an ear for that, and the editing skills to make these.
Very nice. I’m a big fan of the Sexy Back / Sunglasses at Night mashup.
sounds like Huey Lewis’ I Wanna New Drug, oops, it is
Am I the only one that sees an Alyson Hannigan doppelganger at 1:20?
@Mike: That’s Melissa Gilbert. Bunch of celebrity cameos in the original Ghostbusters vid.
Bustin’ makes me feel good.
That was great! Thanks for sharing, Chris!
I do think this is great; I was able to get the sound when I saw it on Attack of the Show!
I was confused by only one thing–and it may have been an edit issue, or even just me missing a snippet of visual on my borrowed television that does not work that well: afterward, Angus Young was referred to as if he had been in that particular video…however, I only saw the equally entertaining Welshman, Brian Johnson, who of course was singing his guts out! (Not a pretty image; sorry….)
Lots of great mashups out there, this one included. Thanks for sharing this, I hadn’t heard it.
I like the Notorious BIG/Miley Cyrus as well.
Also, the Led Zeppelin, Sabbath mashup from Wax Audio is fucking astounding.
@Forrest Yeah, didn’t think it was Hannigan, just that it reminded me of her. If you pause it just right, anyway. Makes me kinda want to watch GB again.
Even mashing it with Ghostbusters can’t make Brian Johnson’s voice tolerable…
I liked the instrumental intro immensely, though.
…………………………………………..let me tell ya…Bustin Makes Me Feel Good!!!………
@Deb, Angus Young is the guy playing the red guitar. And, he’s an Aussie, though born in Scotland. My favorite mashup was the song that got me booted from Napster back when it was free. Somehow Metallica felt that my download & subsequent sharing of their cover of The Anti-Nowhere League’s “So What” mashed with a Britney Spears song infringed on them. Oh well.
I dig the Lazy Town Lil’ John mash up ” cooking by the book” effing classic.
That was pretty good, but here’s Jump you Fucker by the Kleptones;
