Nerdist Podcast Live, 7/28! Just Added: DAVID KOECHNER

by Chris Hardwick on July 6, 2010

Yup! David Koechner–hilarious muthafucka extraordinaire–will be doing a comedy set at the Nerdist Podcast Live @ Largo show on July 28th. YES, the one that already has comedy legend Fred Willard on it.

You know him from Anchorman, 40 Year Old Virgin, Thank You For Smoking, Naked Trucker & T-Bones, and from the legendary improv group Beer, Shark, Mice. If “funny” had a coin, his face might very well be on it.

And if that tweren’t enough, soon I’ll be announcing the musical guest. This show is going to make love to your brain via your eyesockets in long, hysterical strokes (that’s a good thing).

I don’t think I’ am the only one who feels this way but why not film your live podcast, so the show could make love to all our brains via our eyesockets in long, hysterical strokes, not just does who are lucky enough to attend. For the time being I will have to enjoy a hysterical ear fucking from your shows, which I will not lie I do enjoy. It’s my secret shame, along with eating all the potted flowers in my house. (Simpsons !!!)

I do hereby second the motion set forth by MAXimiliano!

Filming the live show has been discussed…we’ll keep it in mind for sure. Just want to make sure we can record the audio flawlessly before we introduce video into the equation!

Yeahhhh. The Nerdist Podcast, soon to be making love to one’s brain via any orifice* it deems necessary to.

Wow.
Now I am kind of scared to buy a ticket like I wanted….
Being one of the audience members lucky enough to be molested by a fully-clad Mr. Hardwick at the Craig Ferguson ‘cast was beyond fine–but this is reminding me of the line from The In-Betweeners: “That sounded a LITTLE bit rape-y!”
