Terminator 5: Dance of the Tequilabots

by Chris Hardwick on January 3, 2010

Made in Alabama by Vacant Manifesto. Almost makes me wish I had a boozy, ethnically stereotyped automaton to leave me for dead in a lens-filtered effect shoot out. *sigh*

WARNING: May be considered racist if you’re a Mexican robot.

I’m offended … in a good way!

Being just 2 hours above Birmingham, I’m not surprised.

Seriously, does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get this to play. It just won’t for me. :(

Thanks for putting that up Chris! These guys deserve some free advertising for such an awesome commercial.

Had the warning been posted above the video link I would not have bothered. As a Mexican robot, I have to say, I am deeply offended.

@Patti Try hitting the HQ button if it’s not playing. There’s been quite a few people having that problem. Not sure, but I think it’s on YouTube’s end.

Glad you all liked it!!!

Thanks, Vacant Manifesto! That worked. That was great! I loved the robot shaking his groove thing. LOL!

Now I want a mexican robot to feed me shots of tequila on command.

Tucked deep inside my brain’s medullary reticular formation are my Awesome Detection nuclei. This commercial just hit every freaking one of them, which I’m pretty sure has never happened before. Good work, Vacant Manifesto!!

This commercial will be best enjoyed during a weary-eyed 2 am late-night tv viewing.

I think the same guy made this commercial for another birmingham spot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxirdU-UJVo
