Nerdist was started by Chris Hardwick and has grown to be a many headed beast.

Nerdist is a place where we nerds come together and share the nerdery that we find. It's also my home to various elements of the Nerdist Empire. You might recognize me from TV. You don't realize that's where you know me from, but it is. You think you went to college with me or I look like your cousin's friend, but that is not the case. At one time or another you stumbled upon me on your moving picture box in such cerebral gems as MTV's "Singled Out" and Noam Chomsky's "Shipmates." and so much more...
Just in time! My sister was asking for a P&S for xmas. Thanks.
Chris, I was in need of a good point and shoot. I need to pick this bad boy up and take it drill sometime. The Army can be harsh on their toys and I wonder how this will hold up? Thanks.
I can’t speak to this specific model, but I had my canon powershot (7.1mp) in the front pocket of my jacket when I dumped my motorcycle. Initially the lens cover shutter deal wouldn’t close because of the dents in the camera, but after slightly pulling the dents out, the camera has worked flawlessly.
dear santa…
Canon makes them some good cameras! I miss the seal rating, though. A 4 is better than a 3 or 3.5. Just saying “Buy” doesn’t give you the granularity of info I might need.
