Mickey Rourke’s Groove Salad

This is the most genius thing I’ve heard all week. Apparently the end credits of Rogue Warrior gives you an ambient/house song complete with swear-filled Mickey Rourke-isms from the game.
Rogue Warrior just came out today, so I hope its beginning and middle are as good as its end.

Yeah it’s real … A friend of mine is a sound engineer for the publisher. He put this together from Mickey Rourke’s dialogue in the game and laid it over an original beat. They liked it and so he fleshed it out into the full length song for the end credits. All the lines are out of context, but it is still money.
this could possibly be the best thing any one could hear in their entire life span.

i love that you are encouraging my weird fascination with mickey rourke. (i know, i know.) but i really do LOVE that you posted this. reinforces one of the many reasons why i enjoy you; because you enjoy the mickey and all of his randomness. and i agree with D above, SO money. i may just be able to sustain myself on groove salad for many a day to come.

the game finally came out? Ever read the books, the first 7 or 8 were great, the last 2 have been more a stretch of the imagination.
