Jack Torrance Novel Posthumously Released

by Chris Hardwick on November 2, 2009

Novelist Jack Torrance, whose mysterious death outside the infamous Overlook Hotel in 1980 sent shockwaves through the writer/caretaker community, apparently had been working on a book when he died. His surviving widow, Wendy Torrance-Thnettlebaum, whom neighbors describe as “shrill and blubbery,” was not available for whiny comment.

That’s not funny. Writers’ block is no laughing matter.

His wife never really supported his work, especially on this piece. Very avant garde. Great artist, such a tragic death.

In all seriousness…. I want a copy!

Also, down with the wife…

Loved the movie, never read the book. I hate people who do that, so I hate myself in turn. I guess I’ll be reading the book now.

Nakes?

i really feel like the syntax is lost in the Kerouacian style prose (obvs). i would have like to seen more structure here; more structure and less homicidal rage.
