Maybe because there's a bit of instant gratification with tweets and replies. I also like how easily I can share online content with other people, whether it's about reminding my local contacts that roller derby is this Saturday, or sharing a great pro-marijuana article (that Kevin Pereira sent out in a tweet - see what I did there? Hehheh). I just don't give myself enough time to sit and write out a blog entry every day. Besides, I feel my tweets are more true to who I am. I really do say goddamn a lot. Nerd on!
