Thom Yorke’s Surf Rock Party
by Chris Hardwick on October 23, 2008
If you know me, you know that Radiohead is by far my favorite band unit. I even spoke to Thom Yorke once when I worked at KROQ in Los Angeles years ago. He wasn't exactly what you would call "nice" or even "cordial" but I've never held that against how much I love thier music. Several times I have had the pleasure seeing them live and their shows will always be embedded in my brain as the best around. Anyone who has seen one of these live performances knows that Thom tends to get a little "flaily" on stage–not a judgment, just an observation. This observation was also made by my good friend, British science artistist Shardcore, who gave said observation visual form.
And REMEMBER…this was made out of love…

“Flaily” is probably one of the nicer ways I’ve heard it put. I saw them last, about 7 years ago, playing in the park with Beta Band. They enjoy attempting to induce their audience into fits with their strobelights as well. “C’mon, everybody flail!”
I don’t mind the flailing, some of his best are when they perform myxomatosis. karate kid! hahaha
Aww, Thom is such a delightful spaz. A possible improvement for this video: superimpose a Hawaiian shirt onto Thom and have bursts of feathers for every spastic movement he makes.
Fucking hilarious!!
dxunbR I’m not easily impressed. . . but that’s impressing me!
