The i2i Stream Sends Your Music 30 Feet Across Space!

by Chris Hardwick on September 10, 2008

This is a great idea IN THEORY but the $100 price tag needs to come down a bit before this slightly-bulkier-than-it-should-be music streaming device can really catch on.

I’m still trying to figure who the market is for this. Even if it was $20 I don’t see the attraction.

IMPREGNATED!!!!

i think i can hear speakers from my laptop 30 feet away…

the way audio works, when signal starts to degrade, the extreme highs and lows dissipate first… which is why voice over bluetooth etc. works fine. the human voice is usually around the 1k frequency. but when we get to music which utilizes our full range of hearing (20hz to 20k) we can suddenly hear just how much the quality degrades.

i really don’t see the use of this product unless you are trying to share music files with the test answers in the class room…. now THAT’S worth 100 bucks right?
