MC Mr. Napkins
by Chris Hardwick on September 30, 2008
I have to admit, I was weary of every aspect of the comedy rapper known as "MC Mr. Napkins." Comedy rap is a dicey trail and difficult to pull of without inducing dry heaves (the two BEST in this Nerdist’s opinion, however, are Dragon Boy Suede and Reggie Watts). Tack that onto a kooky name and I’m usually WAY past the judgment phase. Narrow mindedness can be a nerd’s greatest asset but also his greatest liability…In this case, I am glad that I pushed through my comedy snobbery to check out the video of MC Mr. Napkins (a moniker I now like a lot) rapping about the oft-taken-for-granted medical device known as the Sphygmomenometer (which he rhymes with "conifer"–DOUBLE RAD).
And see more Napkins here, including a song called "NPR Stuttering."

can’t wait to Hard N Firm challenge Mr. Napkins to a Rap battle
This is great!
Also, all hail Reggie Watts, who is just a nutty genius.
Haha I like this guy. That was very entertaining. Haha. Makes me laugh.
That was pretty rad.
As far as I’m concerned, though, comedy rap begins and ends with MC Hawking. You down with entropy?
I have fond memories of 2Live Jews.
This guy is alright, but I still prefer Bo Burnham.
I like how he wanted the audience to hear every part of the production more than the rap itself. It reminded me of the great taste of pure honey. thumbs up, pants down, ejaculatory glands away!
Dang. Today I found about “The Cool Kids” and this guy. AWESOME. This has been an amazing musical day for me.
