the nerdist Welcomes Jonah Ray, Music Nerdist

by Chris Hardwick on August 1, 2008

Jonah Ray is a young, likable scamp who is not only funny but also has music coursing through his lengthy veins (he’s a tall drink o’ bourbon). Recently I asked him if he would like to periodically write some music nerdism to which he replied, "A-okay!" It’s been my plan to invite other Nerdists to blog form time to time because Nerdism is a broad spectrum with many hues.  Expect his first post soon. In the meantime, put a face and voice with Jonah Ray with this video he made as part of his SuperDeluxe.com series, The Freeloader’s Guide to Easy Living, directed by Peter Atencio.

Benny Hill reference = I’m sold.

I was then and still remain convinced that it should have been an Are You Being Served parody instead of a Benny Hill parody. That being said, I’m a huge fan of Mark Rivers “Yakity Slacks”
