Ghostbusters: The Video Game

by Chris Hardwick on July 17, 2008

If you’re like me, you were kicked real hard in the nards by Ghostbusters II five years after being so deftly stroked by Ghostbusters I. If you’ve been trying to spit the taste of the second movie out of your mouth for 20 years, you may be able to wash it out with the minty freshness of Ghostbusters: The Video Game. The brilliance of this is that it’s a sequel but in game form and everyone is reprising their roles—all the way down to William Atherton (Walter "Dickless" Peck). The only names I didn’t see on the cast list were Rick Moranis and Sigourney Weaver (or Jean Kasem, if you want to be a real dork about it). G:TVG (I save time abbreviating titles so that I can waste it all back on parentheticals) will be available October 1st for PS2, PC, and Nintendos Wii & DS for a mere $59.99.

Crappier websites will think they’re being clever by positing,"Who you gonna call" in their reviews. They will be wrong.
