Well the awkardness part definitely came through at the end there. I honestly thought she was serious about taking offense to the drinking comment. Well delivered on her part! Perhaps 'Gervais-esque', though not as wordly sounding, would be more accurate. Either way, good segment, and this is a great idea for a blog. Before the show, we were talking about a slap she was supposed to deliver to my face and I mused, "If I hit you back (not that I EVER would), I wonder if they'd let me finish the show or if there'd be a "technical difficulties" card and I'd just disappear in the middle. She honestly thought it would be hilarious if I slapped her back. I didn't, of course, but I admire that she tried to convince me to do so for the sheer awkwardness of the moment.
