REVIEW: Westinghouse 52" LCD HDTV

This is from Friday’s AOTS. I could have typed out this review, but talking really makes words come to life.
Nerdist was started by Chris Hardwick and has grown to be a many headed beast.

Nerdist is a place where we nerds come together and share the nerdery that we find. It's also my home to various elements of the Nerdist Empire. You might recognize me from TV. You don't realize that's where you know me from, but it is. You think you went to college with me or I look like your cousin's friend, but that is not the case. At one time or another you stumbled upon me on your moving picture box in such cerebral gems as MTV's "Singled Out" and Noam Chomsky's "Shipmates." and so much more...
Hilarious as always. Friday’s show was one of the best of the year. Good work.
Thanks, Scott!
Your wit unnerved a British woman. Well done!
This was the best AOTS you’ve ever hosted. I just can’t believe that for all the beatings you received on Friday’s show, none of them were for calling Layla Kayleigh ‘Fish ‘n Chips’. Both of my hearts thank you for that one.
I’ve never seen that show, but she’s either a Kaufmanesque genius or borderline retarded.

Thanks, Beth! Chris, I’m gonna go with Kaufmanesque on this one. Layla’s a super cool chick. Before the show, we were talking about a slap she was supposed to deliver to my face and I mused, “If I hit you back (not that I EVER would), I wonder if they’d let me finish the show or if there’d be a “technical difficulties” card and I’d just disappear in the middle. She honestly thought it would be hilarious if I slapped her back. I didn’t, of course, but I admire that she tried to convince me to do so for the sheer awkwardness of the moment. That is why I choose “Kaufmanesque.”
If you would have slapped her back I imagine it would have gone something like this: They would have wanted “a word with you” off camera during commercial and Layla would have been advised not to ask questions about your disappearance. Then they would have kicked an intern behind the podium before they went back on.
That sounds about right.
Wow! Well the awkardness part definitely came through at the end there. I honestly thought she was serious about taking offense to the drinking comment. Well delivered on her part!
Perhaps ‘Gervais-esque’, though not as wordly sounding, would be more accurate. Either way, good segment, and this is a great idea for a blog. Looking forward to seeing more stuff on here in the future.
Many thanks, Chris! I have more plans for the nerdist so hopefully you’ll see some expansion in the coming months.
Man, I LOVE it when you guest host. Good times. I’d be interested to see you and Alex Albrecht host together sometime, but my television might explode from the pressure of containing so much awesomeness at once.
